- MP3 Search - It is possible to have JahSing search a directory/file system and load any MP3's it finds there; it can now also load a list of MP3's from a web page pointing to their locations as hypertext URLs. To use either of these methods, click on the File ---> MP3 Search option. Then, for a Directory MP3 load, set the radio button to Directory.
To load from a Web page, leave the radio button set to Web page. The directory path may be selected using the Browse (..) button to the left, or by typing the path in the combo box indicated.
To load MP3's from a web page URL, enter the location URL of the MP3 web page in the combo box. Note that the Translate HTML codes checkbox will convert '%xx' codes in any MP3 URLS to their character equivalent. With some web servers, this procedure may prevent the MP3's from being accessed by your player. If so, reload the URL in the MP3 Search window, deselecting the checkbox.
- Track Movement - Song tracks can be moved around in the playlist, using the UP arrow and DOWN arrow butons on the playlist control bar.
In addition, a playlist may be shufled into a random sequence, by using the Shuffle button on the control bar.
- Improved Status - Notice that the status bar now carries details of the MP3 selected, as well as the total number of tracks available in the playlist.
- ID3 edit facility - The ability to edit and modify ID3 tags in the playlister, making it a full featured, cross-platform ID3 tagger, as well as MP3 track manager and organiser.
- Lyrics tracking and edit ability - now Jahsing music player allows you to play MP3's and view the song lyrics in time to your tunes!
- Mini-browser - Mini-browser provides web browsing capability from within JahSing, giving the user the ability to locate and review sites from the web, then play and search them in JahSing
- CD Search - Automatic search for CD's and music on Amazon.com, based on selections playing in the JahSing player. This feature is only available when using JahSing to play MP3's.
- Clipboard capture - Capture clipboard text, and add to the current playlist. This is especially useful, when picking songs to play from off of web sites, with links to MP3's elsewhere. Simply choose Copy Shortcut, and the MP3 is in JahSing, ready to play!
- Docking - Multi-window docking; both the mini-browser and player window can be docked to the main playulist window in JahSing, making the program a great space-saver on your desktop!
